Mitchell naturally creates community wherever he goes. He hosts regular pancake breakfasts and game nights to bring folks together and is always willing to extend a hand to those in need. He is a genuine and caring person and is for that reason regularly sought out for support by peers. Mitchell is known to encourage students to pursue leadership opportunities within Residence, such as becoming a floor representative or joining a committee.

Nipissing University researchers, working in collaboration with students, faculty members, lab technicians, and medical doctors from Simon Fraser University, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and the University of Massachusetts-Boston have seen their work published in Psychological Science, one of the most prestigious journals in the field of psychology.

Armaan has demonstrated his leadership on campus through his roles as Residence Don, Living Learning Community Don, Community Assistant, Ontario Universities’ Fair Representative, and Campus Tour Guide.
