Nipissing University is pleased to have recognized Trevor Gansekoele from Grand Valley with the Dave Marshall Leadership Award, one of it's most prestigious accolades.

The Department of Psychology’s Speaker Series continues this week with a talk by Nipissing postdoctoral fellow, Shawn Geniole, PhD on Thursday, October 18 at 11:30 a.m. in F213. The lecture will explore the role of testosterone in reducing the threat premium in humans.

A place for all students to learn, compete and cheer, and for the entire community to enjoy. That sentiment perfectly sums up Nipissing University’s new turf field, which officially opened today with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The gorgeous and eagerly anticipated Student Centre took another big step forward last week, with the tender being awarded to Kenalex Development Ltd., a local neighbourhood developer and commercial contractor.

Nipissing students consistently impress as leaders, in the classroom, on campus and in the community. Recently the university celebrated 25 student leaders at the annual Dave Marshall Leadership Awards. Over the coming months, NU News will introduce each student leader to the wider community with a short article discussing their accomplishments and activities. Today, we are pleased to profile Samantha DeFranco, who is working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Honours in English Studies and Gender Equality and Social Justice.
