Nipissing University’s Student Counselling Services is launching NU Listens, a new campaign that aims to increase visibility and conversation around mental health.

Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Perry Bellegarde was at Nipissing University on Monday, September 28, for a special lecture about closing the gap between First Nations and Canada.

This week, students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in a series of experiential and cultural learning opportunities. Activities include Elder teachings and guest speaker presentations by Maurice Switzer, Dale Turner, Dawn Lamothe and Paige Restoule as well as drum making, beading and traditional singing workshops.
