Nipissing Lakers head coach Eric Yung was named the OCAA West coach of the year and is nominated for the Canadian Colleges Athletics Association coach of the year.

The Humber Hawks defeated the Nipissing Lakers today 3-0 to win in their third consecutive Gold Medal in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Men’s Volleyball Championships at Nipissing University. Humber won the match in three straight sets (27-25, 25-20, 25-22) to secure the championship.

The Nipissing Lady Lakers volleyball team punched a ticket  to the 2012 OCAA provincial championship with a dominating 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-15) sweep of the visiting Loyalist Lancers in a sudden death cross-over playoff match at the RJS gymnasium.
