Nipissing’s Award Winners Speaker Series heads into the forest on February 25, at 7 p.m. in the Harris Learning Library with Dr. Jeff Dech’s talk: Seeing the Forest for the Trees: Ecological Modelling of Forest Landscapes.

Congratulations to Nipissing’s Dr. Amir Erfani, associate professor of Sociology, who was invited to speak at the Eighth Annual PopPov Conference on Population, Reproductive Health, and Economic Development. The conference took place, January 22 – 25 in Nairobi, Kenya.
A team featuring Nipissing University professor, Dr. Darren Campbell, assistant professor of psychology, has received one of two Collaborative Mental Health Research Fund grants. Campbell is collaborating with the North Bay Regional Health Centre’s Dr. Sandra Stewart, clinical neuropsychologist and adjunct professor at Nipissing; and Dr. Ralph Dell'Aquila, addiction medicine physician.
