Union officials say Canadore has 160 support staff. This pertains to the North Bay Campus.How does the strike affect students?It is Business as Usual at Nipissing.Is the university open right now?Yes, classes will not be disrupted, however, leave extra time to get to the campus due to picket lines.Will the busses cross the picket line?No, they will drop off passengers on College Drive. Please note that in heavy traffic periods, the bus may have to drop off passengers at Founders House. Passengers can choose to walk up the hill or they can choose to wait at Founders House until the traffic is moving and the next bus arrives. We recognize that this may cause some inconvenience; however, we have to respect the right of the employees to picket.Will the library remain open?Yes. The library schedule will remain unchanged.Will the cafeteria remain open?Yes.
