Nipissing - Suzuki Foundation collaboration generating buzz

Look for the new education guide, developed by the Suzuki Foundation in collaboration with Nipissing University, to be featured in upcoming editions of Professionally Speaking magazine and Owl magazine.The guide, Connecting With Nature: an educational guide for grades four to six, is comprised of a series of activities that get children outside exploring issues like biodiversity, where our food comes from and how to conserve energy.
It will be featured in the August 28 edition of Professionally Speaking, and in the September issue of Owl.
Jenny Guibert (Project Lead) and Dr. John Vitale of Nipissing’s Brantford campus worked with Dr. Astrid Steele of the North Bay campus and bachelor of education students in the Schulich School of Education to develop the guide.
